    Hi People

Im wondering how to get the salt stains out of the carpets that have been there for some time and have grounded into the carpets.

    Thanks

    Welcome to Meguiars Online!!
I would try APC and lots of it with a brush.
    Or Quik Out Carpet Cleaner.

      I like steam extraction.

First brush and vacuum to remove as much dry salt as possible. I'd then use steam to dissolve the remaining salt and extract it from the carpet.

I like to use the discontinued All Surface Interior brush and Meguiars Quik Out, or the Detailer Line Upholstery Cleaner.

          Re: Salt stains in carpet

I've had pretty good success with the salt stuck on the side lip of the mat...

          1. Dust off any debris (hit against wall or something)
          2. Place on driveway and drench with hose
          3. Simply Green max (undiluted) and spray evenly
          4. Use brush to work into entire carpet
          5. Settle for 5 minutes
          6. Use hose to rinse out excess
          7. Wet/dry vac to **** out dirt and water/APC
          8. Hang dry for couple hours

I've used pretty much the same method, but w/o the rinse on the carpeted interiors as well, but with a clean toothbrush. Wet/dry was one of my proudest investments!

I live in Canada, my Meguair product line is fairly limited. I usually find it after the whole ArmourAll barrage.
