Quik Suds was a great idea, it just didn't go over well with do-it-yourselfers and serious enthusiasts. It was a variation of the dissolving strips you can buy for breath fresheners.

What was cool was that we took the water out of the car wash and made a car wash that could be inexpensively shipped because compared to a normal car wash it weighed hardly anything. Less energy to move it from place to place, think green.
          • Most serious enthusiasts use a 5-gallon bucket filled with about 4 gallons of water to wash their cars. The strips were formulated to be used with one gallon of water, so for a serious enthusiast to use the product properly diluted they would have to throw 4 Quik Suds Sheets into the bucket, this was probably not perceived as a good value. A sheet that treated 4-5 gallons would have probably been better received.

          • Also most enthusiasts opt for premium wash solutions like Gold Class or NXT Car Wash, not sure the formula for the Quik Suds but offering it in one or both of the premium car wash products would have also probably made the product better received.

It was a great idea, probably just a little before it's time.

this wasn't a strip, was a liquid filled packet.
