Background: This truck is our daily driver and gets used and abused. If i am going to a very crowded and compact area where i dont feel comfortable taking my Silverado, I take the 4Runner. This truck gets ued and abused. This truck barely gets washed and when it does it is done by my Dad with a terry cloth and a squeeze of dish soap. If i really wanted to i could bring this truck back to life but it dosent really matter because its a work truck and my parents dont want me wasting my products on this truck. I was anxious to see what UC could do for this truck, oh and its black by the way!
Ultimate Compound:
Befores:
Taped a section of the hood just like its done on the front label:
Process: okay so heres what i did. i wiped the test section down with some quik detailer and a microfiber. Then i taped a section off for the test. I did this all by hand too. I worked the product into the finish with moderate pressure for about 50 seconds then i used light pressure for the next 10 seconds.
i used circular motions and straight lines.
After:
There is still swirls but nothing compared to what it was like before, and take into account it was used by hand with a foam applicator pad using moderate pressure
The Product : Ultimate Compound has a very pleasant smell to it and it is not a strong smelling product. It smelled a little minty with a squirt of Quik Interior Detailer. I was very impressed with Ultimate Compound and how it performed by hand, i can only imagine the results by machine! This product also seemed to finish LSP ready and didnt leave behind its own path of destruction for Swirl X to clean up.
Ultimate Compound is a great product and truly blows traditional rubbing compounds out of the water! This is a product i would always have on hand for when you are working on a car. I apoligize in advance for my poor picture taking skills, but i thought i would share this with you guys if anyone is on the fence about buying this product.
Questions, comments, and concerns are more than welcome
