  • Hi from New Mexico USA

Just joined forum because I have a fresh restore coming home 1970 Camaro - I just would like to learn the new technologies and seek advice

    Other cars:

    1990 Porsche 911 C4 - was Gene Hackman's
1996 Ford Ranger - Driver - not i bad shape but could use some help
1994 Chrysler Le Baron - Wife's Convertible nice for being that old she loves it
    1997 Pontiac Grand Prix - 24k miles

All cars are white - our main enemy in New Mexico at 5000 ft elevation is sun - it eats rubber, paint and interiors - but metal parts stay great

I will read as much as I can before asking questions - but I need to get out of the old ways of car care - especially on the newly painted Camaro - Glassurit and all new trim and interior

Thanks in advance - I will try not to be too stupid

Need to find a large starter kit

    Brian

    Dont worry...

Here is some reading. There are a few new products out of course, but the ideas remain the same. Get the basics down, and we can fill in new products, accesories, trim/glass, etc...

Wow - Thanks - learned a whole bunch already reading and watching videos - there is hope for all my vehicles

Definitely my knowledge was stone age

Now to get some products and even more importantly the time - being stuck to computer 60-70 hours a week just for work I find this type of thing therapeutic - but some honey do's and yard work will suffer

Oh well - Winter has been very mild in New Mexico and will probably be able to start early - already have much of yard work done

            Thanks everyone

            More to come and learn
