  • Removing Salt Stains from Metal

My Fire Department is upgrading our Ambulances with new and updated supplies. We ran into some shelves that are stained with salt. We tried scrubing with water, and nothing happened we also tried using Extreme Orange Degreaser with no luck. I do not know what kind of metal it is. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what to use. All help is appreciated.

Maybe try some kind of metal polish?

Pictures would be awesome, how severe is it?

It is pretty bad. We tried some metal polish also with no luck. I was thinking steel wool possibly.

Be careful because it may be annodized.....If you do try steel wool, make sure it is 0000 steel wool.

        A picture would really help
