Re: Photoshop Elements to make animated avatars

Thank you Aaron for creating this.

I really like your current animated Avatar because it's like a little educational slide show in all your posts.

    Nice work!

I have Photoshop Elements 2.0 as it came with my Rebel camera, when I get a chance I follow your tutorial and see if I can create something similar.

Well I just tried Ryan's way at picasion.com. I told you it must be easy if I could do it.

Theres another speed that isn't so fast...a little less flashy.

    But looks good!

I do like your website, but in the event the site goes down, so does your avatar..... Unless you saved it

I like using PS so you can position objects or do the text like I did.

Picasion is a good source though and easy

Hopefully they are not too different and you can do the animated .gif's

    It's been fun so far.

Elements is also great for photo editing for your digital pictures, I've messed the hair up on some co-workers here at the jail and they just love me

Glad to hear you're using this: I plan to keep it much more aggressively up-to-date than has been the case in the past, but don't hesitate to let me know if you find errors or need clarifications.

Re: How To Use PhotoShop Elements to Create Animated Avatars

hang tight, I still use this program for mostly photo editing of co-workers and what not...It's not the full Photoshop though and it's "limited" I have some links at home that can help you with it.

I went to a book store and bought photoshop for dummies and photoshop elements books to go by.

It's been fun, been really fixing old photos from my in-laws and I re-did my parents wedding pictures as they became faded and scratched and what not. Gave it to them for christmas and they bout fell over.....
