How come some of your D line gallon bottle dispensers have the nozzles really high when some others don't?

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

        I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
        Remove swirls my friends.

Re: What's your collection of detailing products?

I know most of you have probably already seen this, but I figured I would bump this thread and maybe get it going again...this is the thread that I was looking for before.

the small brushes that are black handles are just pot scrubbers from IKEA, great for capet scrubbing where the all surface brush can not get to.

this is from IKEA, 4.99 per section.

the clay box to the left is for wheels only.

the larger QD bottle is OPT at lube dilution, smaller QD is ONR at QD dilution. I use the dusters for when i'm polishing and it gets a little dusty..I live on an alley..

I have Opti-Bond tire gel coming, another container of ONR, one gallon of APC, and another APC bottle, two bottle of Duragloss 601 wash too.

I'm glad we can post pictures of our stuff without great critiscm, I posted my stuff on "another" detailing site, and you would have thought I had only 20 dollars in product in my pics...upset me a little bit...everyone here is great and that is why I will be a life member here!!

Re: What's your collection of detailing products?

so today I should have my 32oz ONR, Opti-Bond tire gel waiting at the house. I picked up my gallon of APC, Megs APC bottle and sprayer, two bottles of DG 901, and two bottles of DG 471. Some times next week I should have my two glass towels and a white and orange LC 5.5" pads....it just keeps getting more and more out of control...I need to buy something for my wife before she starts getting pissy!

Re: What's your collection of detailing products?

Goody this thread came back, I about started a new one. Tell you what, today a little bit of cash goes a long way. I wanted to buy enough stuff so where after one car the rest is pretty much pure profit. Yes, I know it may be bad to charge, oh, $10 for a basic wash and tire shine to about $75+ for a full detail, but considering you're talking high school and college students who don't wash their cars ever, besides heavy rains and maybe a run through an automatic wash every 6 months, which for $6 for a mid level wash, why not have someone hand wash it? So here is my collection, but it's missing the 6" buffer and tire shine which I do have, Black Magic Tire Shine gel.

25 microfibers if I counted correctly. But this is what I'm most proud of.

I just bought all of this in the past two weeks from the first money I made.

                        Auto Spa Premium microfiber towel
I got the clay bar kit somewhere else and about 3 bottles of Quick Detail. And that thing that could be a tube top is some type of very silky polishing towel.
                        2 more wash mits

3 tins of NXT 2.0 wax
                        Shop-Vac
                        2 bottles of Cleaner Wax
                        2 bottles DC Paint Cleaner
                        2 bottles of DC Polish
1 bottle of Mother's Back to Black.
3 5 gallon buckets, working on getting some Grit-Guard.
I think that's it. I should be good for a while. (Not bad for a high school student eh?)

Here's an update to my stuff......

My Craftsman tool box with 2 drawers that holds my Rotary/G100 and tools and whatnot

Top Drawer with my W67DA and my new W68DA

Bottom Drawer with a W64 (I think), W65 and my new W68 for my rotary

This tool box works pretty handy!

Top Shelf: NXT AMP/Clay/HR ACP/SwirlX/UC/Soaps and about 6 bottles of Multi Piece

2nd shelf down: 9/80/83/84/UC/SX/DC/M16/M19/NXT 2.0/ColorX/M21/M26/M26P/GC/samples of M20/M105/M205 and Solo (Thanks Kevin)

Green extension cord that I use outside. 12AWG.

It's 12AWG (I think the AW means All Weather.....not sure.)

Bucket's O' Towels: This is how I store all my towels and red rags:

Cart O' Pads: The teenage girl was getting rid of this, she said it kept falling apart, after some negotiating and explaining how I would fix it, she still didn't want it....Some pop rivets later, it's all good!

Same teenage girl didn't want this drawer gizmo either, so.....it holds my assortment of applicator pads:

And my favorite working outside hat! Need a new one though.....

I don't have a lot of room in our back room so, I make every bit of room work for me . It also pays to have an understanding wife who let's me do this stuff as a "Hobby".....Not the cheapest hobby!
