  • Blue Coral HF Car Wash Concentrate to Water Ratio

I picked up Blue Coral's High Foam Car Wash Concentrate at a very good price. Does any know what the proper soap to a gallon of water ratio is?

IIRC the label says a cap full to a bucket of water. But they don't tell you how many gallons are in a bucket of water. Not sure where ask... BC's site doesn't say and they don't have a forum. I know there are people here that use this.

The dilution for our Consumer soaps is one ounce to one gallon or approximately 2-3 capfuls to one gallon. There's is probably close to this but how big or small the cap is would be a factor.

If the above is accurate or close the a 5-gallon bucket with 4 gallons of water would require 4 ounces or between 8 to 12 capfuls of car wash concentrate for the proper dilution.

Do they have a Customer Service Phone Number?

      Here is Sopus' response:

Our instructions are basically the same as what you reference, and
are therefore somewhat general. Most buckets hold 2-3 gallons of
water so I would assume the ratio is roughly the same as your
Magiars, with 1oz per gallon a good guide.
Here is what the directions say on the back:

      1. Add two capfulls of Blue Coral High Foam Car Wash into empty bucket.
      2. Mix with powerful spay of water.

WOW! Their response is surprisingly non-specific. I doubt it will cause harm if the dilution ratio is not spot-on, but their answer doesn't inspire much confidence.

Once again, other companies do not offer knowledgeable customer support. I mean this is not a complicated question.

                  haha, that got me lol'ing..

Kinda confuses me why they would make a product like that and not tell you how much to use. I guess they figure the majority of the population doesnt care?

I know before I really got into detailing I just guess-t-mated. Been washing since I could walk(helped dad).
