I did send out the regular summer care package.
This is from the Marine that received the summer shipment -
July 10, 2008
Mr. Fernandez,
Hello from Fallujah Iraq, just wanted to drop you a line and let you know your packages arrived today.
I travel six days a week around my area of operation, and as usual I will take some the packages and pass them to our warriors.
I truly thank you for the support and effort it took to send all of these, so as I said, I will personally deliver them to the 5,400 Marines, Sailors and Soldiers of Regimental Combat Team-1.
Semper Fi, once a Marine, always a Marine.
