    Re: Leather Or Fabric?

I prefer leather - IMO it cleans easier than cloth, work can get a little dirty and frequent re-model projects, maybe its just me.

Another leather here. Look and smells great, and I find leather much easier to maintain.

I voted leather. I've had both and I just love the look of leather. I think it makes everything look sleek, especially dark, two-tone leather.

I vote fabric, you don't stick to it in the summer and or burn yourself on it.

            Re: Leather Or Fabric?

Seems like almost everybody has great reasons for their personal life style. I mean obviously if your driving around your clients all day in your $100,000 Mercedes or what have you, you would probably want leather. But for somebody thats always dirty and stuff, you would probably want fabric.

            Good stuff guys!

                Leather is great,
but alot of cars have cheap and uncomfortable leather. The companies also supplement leather with vynal on the side of the seat.

                  Re: Leather Or Fabric?

Leather just gets trashed no matter what you do with it. It streches out, gets creases or cracks. Fabric just lasts forever if it is good quality. In my experience, leather dies first, then seat foam, then fabric. Plus fabric is more comfy in temperature extremes.

I voted Leather.......we was debating the samethning here when we were going to buy our 08 Accord. We did end up with leather and we love it, easy to clean and it cuts down on our allergies inside the car!!!

Leather! Especially with pets that ride in the car.

                        Re: Leather Or Fabric?

In most cases I would vote leather, but for a work truck I would certainly go for fabric. It's going to see wear and fabric wears better. As well, trucks tend to get poor quality leather in comparison to high end luxury cars and fabric is a much better value by far when you take that into account.

You do have to watch for claw marks though.

                                I say leather.
It looks nicer and smells better.

So it should not be a problem to clean or keep it looking brand new.
