  • Do you dress your windshield wiper arms?

Does anyone dress or wax the metal windshield wiper arms? If yes, what do you use?

Maybe this is an obsessive-compulsive question ...

I dress them with GC trim detailer. Works great.

I either use GC Trim Detailer or Turtle Wax Ice

I use Hyper Dressing. Sometimes it doesn't absorb all that well, but I sort of buff it on/into it and it eventually dries out great.

Trim Detailer but most of the time just wash with the soap and dry. Then again, car only has 9800 miles

All season dressing most of the time.

I just clean them off. And wipe down the wiper blade. The wipers on mine are a matte shade of black, so they would look kinda weird shiny.

I'll usully put dressing on it as I'm doing the blades. I really don't pay to much attention to these. It would be just a pain to wax these.

I use Gold Class Trim Detailer or All Season Dressing, the ASD seems to last a tad longer. On my Yukon, the GCTD last longer than the ASD, go figure= more stuff to buy

Has anyone waxed their wiper arms with NXT? How did it look? Any disadvantages or problems?

I read a lot of people use a plastic dressing but mine are metal. I have tried some of the trim detailers but it leaves it streaky.

Mines are made of metal, so I wax them.

I've waxed mine with great results. You need to be quite gentle though.

Also, in between waxes, I UQD them...

The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.
