    Another Plastic Headlight Restoration...

Well, I saw my wife parking my mother-in-law's car and it looked like it had Fred Flintstone (candle) headlights! Couldn't believe how badly they had been 'sand blasted' over the years and 150K miles here in the desert.

    So...
Wash lights only with G.C. - only had about 1.5 hours to work on the car.
Wet sand with 1000 - rinse
Wet sand with 1500 - rinse
Wet sand with 2000 - rinse - dry
M105 by hand (yellow foam pad)
PlastX by hand (yellow foam pad)
    UQD w/MF

I need to find time that works for both our schedules to get a hold of the paint!
You'll notice absolutely NO Reflection in the hood! Doh! It's driving me nuts and I rarely see the car!

    Amazing transformation on those headlights!
And your helper is cute as a button. I hope you paid her a decent wage.

Thanks guys! Safety was the reason I had to jump on it, even though I didn't have time to do an actual detail. My daughter rides in that car on occasion.

Hmmm... I think Ice Cream would be a great treat for me!!! Thanks for the idea!!!!

Thanks! Ok... I will admit if I had had any 4" pads, I would have used my PC... but only because I'm lazy!

    But I do like M105!!!!!
