  • Tough Dirt on Wheels

I have had my wheels for about 2 years now and I have started to notice some dirt gathering in those hard to reach places. I am afraid that the dirt will stain or start to wear on the chrome. Soap and water and good old elbow grease has helped me through the years but again, I am afraid that other chemicals might damage the wheels.

Is there something I should be using that will zap the dirt and get me back to lookin good.

    Thanks.

    Re: Tough Dirt on Wheels

You could try Hot RimsĀ® Aluminum Wheel Cleaner.

It is a very mild cleaner, and shouldn't cause any problems.

EDIT: Sorry just re-read your post and I noticed you said chrome. Do you know 100% that they are real chrome? What type of car and year is it? Aftermarket or Factory wheels?

      Nice, Thanks for the info.

Here is the link to the wheels. I would guess they are aluminum then dipped. Aftermarket.
