  • Anniversary editon Corvette in Anniversary Red

Here is another one of my favorites. The owner of this car is a good friend of mine and after him seeing some of my other work he wanted me to do his car. He has maintained the car extremely well but yet there were defects and swirls through out the car.

I love #7... what a difference. Great work!

You know... I was never a Vette fan until I really started to get into detailing and now I love the Vette paint jobs. When done right, they really are amazing.

      Looks nice, clean and shiny!

What else did you use besides #7 Show Car Glaze?

Once again, Great work. The vette's paint looks so deep and rich. Way to go.

Oh yeah. good body curves with deep glossy paint = great looking vette

BTW, is the paint SS or CC?

            Anyhow,

Nice job. So what was your process. I know vettes usually have very hard paint.

Mike, I used my favorite wax NXT 2.0 along with the main paint cleaner and M80

As its been asked on all my threads I will post again:

yep well here is the list of stuff i use for all of the cars i do:
                Super Soap
                All purpose cleaner
                M34
                M8o
                M83
                M105
                Clay Bar
                M7
                Nxt 2.0
                All season dressing
                metal polish
                Insane tire shine
                Ultimate Quick detailer
                Nxt Speed detailer
                quick interior detailer
Gold class leather cleaner and conditioner
                Meguiars glass cleaner

I think thats all the supplies I use for the most part I may have forgot a few things. I use a sheeps wool mitt to wash water magnet to dry and MF towels.

                1. wash the car wheels first then top to bottom
                2. dry car
                3. clay car entire way around (this is subject to each car on how the paint feels after washing but gor the most part every car has had to get clayed)
                4. apply paint cleaner to entire vehicle.
5.M80 with a DA and speed for to 5 (if M80 is not working then i step up to m83 then follow M83 with M80.)
                6. apply M7 with DA on speed 2 with finishing pad.
7.apply Nxt 2.o at speed 2 let haze over and remove.
                8. appy a second coat of nxt 2.0
                9. go over the enitre car with UQD
                10. apply ASD to wheel wells and plastic trim
                11. dress tires and polish metal parts (if any)
                12. clean windows and clear plactic
                13. interior work
                14 present car

I do have M105 listed I only use that for spot remval by hand for then defects that cant be removed by M80 and M83.

Thats pretty much how a car goes when I do it.
