  • # 7 Show Car Glaze

I know it's a hand polish but can it be used with a DA?

if it can then can it only be used with a finishing pad?

if it can not be used with a DA, what product can work with a DA that will give the same wet look?

Reason - have a flex - used white heavy Cross Cut polishing (like MG 8207)pad to remove spider scatches and a few deep scratches in 1 area with #151. Came back and tried to use a Blue Cross Cut Flex polishing (lighter then MG 8207) pad with #7 and I had I guess what is micro marring. I switched back to #151 and the white pad - 1 pass gone. If the answer is yes, would I use the Black Finishing pad which is compared to the MG 9207 pad?

I have one other question which may sound crazy. Is it possible to make older paint look darker over time if you wash and wax it over the years. I just wanted to know because I can see slightly lighter region now that I removed the scatches. I noticed that when I first bought the car people new it was black but in the sun it had a metalic look. Now when I look at the cleaned area I see that look in that paint more then the old paint. Thanks.

I just thought about it - he used it in the video but it was by hand so anyway -

You're an impatient one, aren't you!

Yes, you can use #7 with the DA, low speed (3), light pressure and a finishing pad.

Any marring that you might have encountered after using #7 would have come from your pad or wiping towel as #7 is a pure polish and contains no abrasives of any kind. A very gentle approach is called for at this step.
