  • My first use of M151 Reconditioning cream

I got my 12 oz sampler size of M151 the other day and couldn't wait to use it after everything that I've read about it. I have a 95 T bird that I bought early this year and it was very neglected. It still has the original paint and is in fairly decent shape. The front bumper is just COVERED in spots that are etched into the paint from bugs that weren't cleaned off so between those and the scrapes on it, it looks more white than the dark green that it is. The bumper just needs a repaint but I figured, what the heck, I don't have anything to lose. Also on the hood there are scratches and swirl marks that needed to come out. I've used M83 and M80 on it before and gotten most of them out so I was anxious to see what M151 would do. M151 goes on so easy, doesn't gum up like M83 and wipes off with little effort and the finish is AWESOME!! Well, here are the results and they are AMAZING! I applied it with my DC and an 8006 pad.

    Here is the hood before:

And here it is after. The horizontal looking lines in it is actually the reflection of my house in it.

Here is a reflection shot of the hood before I applied M21:

Here is a section of the front bumper before:

Here are a couple after, you can still see the etched spots but it's MUCH better and you can actually see my reflection in it!

Here are a couple of the car after applying M21, sorry, not the best pix with my cam phone:

As you can see, the results are amazing!! I probably would've gotten the same results with M83 and M80 but it would've taken longer and it's still 2 separate products and M151 is SO much easier to use! I'll be sticking with it!!

Thanks!! I haven't used Solo yet so I can't say, but I'm really impressed with the results from M151.

Did you use a DA or a rotary?

Great result! Seeing your '95 makes me miss mine, I loved it until one (self-censored) blew the stop sign with his truck and twisted my T-bird into pretzel totalling it because he was on the cell phone.

Good job capturing the before and after photos, keeping the shots in the correct perspective.

I used the DA on speed 5 with the 8006(yellow) pad.

Thanks! This is my second t-bird. My first was a 92 with a 5.0 that i had for 10 yrs and finally sold it with 175,000 miles on it. I bought my wife a G6 and inherited her 99 Grand Cherokee which was a nice vehicle but wasn't for me so I sold it and since the new Mustang Shelby 500 KR is out of my reach for right now I found this 95 4.6 litre cheap and paid cash. What can I say, I'm a V8 rear wheel drive car kinda person!

Nice work. Confirms for me that M151 & a DA is in my future.
