Will there be any extreme difference in washes between my current Turtle Wax Ice wash and the NXT 2.0 wash?

    Re: Washes

ICE came out after I switched to Meguiars, but I used to use Mothers California wash, and wont be going back any time soon. A lot of people try Nxt or Gold Class wash, and dont go back.

You'll need to try them out and see which one you like best.

        Yes.

The Turtle Wax product is made by the Turtle Wax company.

The NXT Car Wash is made by Meguiar's Inc.

              Re: Washes

I tried the Turtle Wax ICE wash (got a free sample at Good Guys car show back in April) and I used it to wash my mom's car. It foamed up a lot, but it didn't rinse off as easily as the GC & NXT that I'm used to using. I'll stick with the GC and NXT instead.

I've tried all these different soaps and I honestly can't tell the difference. As long as you're not using some cheap no-name brand soap, I would use a brand that is well known.

                  Re: Washes

to me the turtle wax ice wash does not have nearly the lubricity that i find in the shampoo plus from the detailer line. it also seems a little harder to rinse off. to me its a no brainer.

the only other car wash i use that is not meguiars is a waterless car wash. for long drives where there are lots of bugs, the waterless car wash seems to get the bugs off a lot easier than quik detailer. after the waterless car wash i just use some ultimate quik detailer. when i get home i give it a real wash.
