  • Sticky Nasty Dash

Part of my dash has become very stick. it shines more than the other areas, it is a slightly different material than the rest of the dash, kinda leatherish.

Ppl think its nice and shiny and then they touch it..and change their mind.

    anything i could try?

Without pics its hard to diagnose. Apc or #39 i would think should do the trick.

What are you working on? What car? What have you tried?
You can post some pictures for us to see

But a very versatile product is APC / APC+ as mentioned above. You can work this and see how it works. But please post some pictures

What product did you use to make it all sticky in the first place?

What have you been applying to it for a dressing?

A quick, inexpensive thing to try would be our Quik Interior Detailer, either the spray or the wipes.

Wipe the dash down a couple of times using QID and see if the appearance of the affected area gets better and starts to match the rest of the dash.

If it doesn't, then the problem is either the dash itself or the dressing you've been using.

What are you working on? As in what kind of car and how old is it?

ok most products mentioed are not available on our little island.

i believe it was a grease spot that go spread around.

its a Mitsubishi Lancer GSR 1996

Same interior as the EVO IV,V & VI

in the evo its the part that covers the airbag, i dont have a pasenger air bag so its a glove box.

one more thing, when u touch it it leaves finger prints on the affected part.
