APC issue

Today I did a quick engine cleaning with APC 4:1. However it looks like white streaks are everywhere now. Is this a function of APC? Should I be using Super Degreaser instead?

Sounds like it dried up before it was rinsed off? Super Degreaser may stain some plastics and will stain paint. Depends on what you are doing and working on.

Nope it had not dried up. Working on my engine compartment.

Maybe the 4:1 was too strong?

Those are the only two things I can think of.

Never seen that happen with APC...... only if it was lefted to dry like Tyler said, would I think it would stain like that. Picture?? I'm guessing you tried to wash the white streaks off and no luck??

did you wet the surface before applying APC ? A picture would ave better understand...

4:1 could of been too strong. Try 10:1 first, if it doesn't work, then 4:1. Again, don't let it dry, especially on the paint...Rinse it off completely...
be sure to cover up intake, altenator, and anything electrical. Safety first.

I have had the same issue AeroCleanse.

I switched to using Super Degreaser on the engine and it doesn't leave the white residue that APC does.

Never have any issue using APC on engines or interiors.

What type of surface? Metal, or plastic?
