What do I need to get after I get the Porter cable D/A

I am making a purchase of a used porter cable/G-100, I was wondering if you guys that have one, maybe sum me up a list what I need to get for it.

hey stang97,

You should get a backing plate if it does not come with one, some 8006,9006,and 1 7006 pad. Get one 8006 pad for each of the polishes that you will be using to prevent cross contamination of the pads with other products. I would say 2 9006 pads one for you lsp and one for a pure polish or dedicate it for a final polish with a finer polish. 1 7006 pad with micro fiber bonnets for wax removal. I have about 16 8006 pads dedicated for 3 polishes 83,80,and 82. You should check out autodetailingsolutions.com they have deals on bulk pads. my suggestion on the amount of pads to you is a minimum and it should get you started, but if you have enough money get as many as you can for your budget. Not just "a backing plate" but a hook and loop backing plate to use on those Meg pads. Perferably Meguiar's W67DA http://www.meguiars.com/?pro-backing...-Backing-Plate.
