New guy here.
Using a old ice scraper, I made some light scratches on the windshield that are only visible in certain lighting/angles.
Two products he's been looking at are:
http://www.eastwoodco.com/jump.jsp?itemID=2010&itemType=PRODUCT
http://www.autogeek.net/glass-repair-kit.html
They first site says that using a rotary polisher such a porter-cable 7424 would be good for cleaning up the scratch but he would still need an orbital buffer/drill attachment. This would be using their Glass Polishing Kit Pro.
The second site says the porter-cable 7424 would be fine with the kit. I'm thinking I would still need a orbital polisher/drill in order to do this right.
I've already read someone posting on this site that the eastwood stuff is not that effective. Then again I found a guy's page online who seems to have liked the results of the stuff.
Does anyone have any expirence in this?
Thank you.
