    Cleaning Wheel Wells?

How do you clean and dress your wheel wells? I somtimes use a preasure washer because there is no other way to get them clen. Do you wax the wheel wells? I never heard of this befor until I read another post.

Also what do you think of the metts now. I think that they have the NL East. I wish the Red Sox had tradded for Santana but we still have a very good rotation. Imagine if the sox got santana.

    Sox Repeat!

Patriots [edited] but I can not root for the Giants so I got New England

[Please keep off topic posts and comments in the Breakroom Forum; Thanks, Tim]

Whats with all the sports questions embedded in your car detailing questions? There is a forum called the break room for Off Topic discussions.

As to your detailing question...pressure washer and a degreaser of some sort has always worked for me. I usually scrub them as well if I can get my hand in there. Most modern day cars have either plastic or felt in the wheels wells, so theres nothing really to wax. If you really feel that you need to, then go ahead.

    Re: Cleaning Wheel Wells?

I clean my wheel wells with a quick spray of APC and then give them a light scrub with, of all things, a toilet brush I picked up at the grocery store - long handle, wide brush; it works great!! After drying the car I just spray some Armor All up in there and wipe down with a old terry cloth applicator pad. The AA is left over stuff I've had in the garage for a looooong time, but Hyper Dressing or any plastic/rubber/vinyl dressing will work fine.

Unless you have a custom ride with painted and clear coated wheel wells I wouldn't even think about trying to wax them.

Waxing the wheel wells wouldnt be worth it to do on a daily driver. I use a pressure washer with some APC then followed up with Body Solvent. When the wheel well is dry I apply All Season Dressing.

I spray some APC in with the foaming head sprayer, and scrub around with a brush. Then dress them with ASD if the situation calls for it. Not dressing them this time of year.

I do my tires at the same time.

I agree with Mike ion Orange. I buy some toilet bowl brushes from the local Dollar store. Use the apc rinse well, then when dry I apply All season Dressing.

I use a separate bucket for my rims and fender wells. I keep DC soap in it and wash the fender wells with an old sponge after I wash the rims.

APC to clean, Hyper Dressing to dress. Amazing results.

Spraying tire foam in the wheelwells works pretty good too.
