I just got a bug deflector for my hood and I have to use 2 sided tape to install it. Do you guys have any alternatives I could use. Has anyone used 2 sided tape? Does it work? How long will it hold? Thanks for any info.

Two sided tape is used to affix all sorts of things to vehicles these days - from badges to side moulding and it works very well. Prep is critical though. I'd wash the area in question, then clay it, then wipe it a 50/50 alcohol/water mix, then wipe it a second time. Then I'd probably wipe it a third time just to be sure. And do it on a fairly warm day too.
The affixed item can always be removed later using a heat gun, dental floss and some GooGone.Michael Stoops
