  • Newbie from Mexico

    Hello to everyone

Mi name is Rafael, my car is a peugeot 206 the color is silver and as you can guess I'm new on this of making my car look's good, I bougth the Crystal Clear system with the paint cleaner, the polish and the Canuba wax, after reading some posts about waxing and polishing, I have a doubt, wich method is best to begin: claying the car (with Quick Detailer) or use the step 1.

Thanks for the answers and tips are very wellcome too.

    The 5-Step Paint Care Cycle.

    Meguiar's 5-Step Paint Care Cycle

    Step 1 Wash

    Step 2 Clean

    Step 3 Polish

    Step 4 Protect

    Step 5 Maintain

    You WASH and then clay.

By claying you are removing above surface contaminants.

Step 1 means (Step 3 above) step 1 in a three step process using the DC System. does that make sense.

so yes DC1 is step 1 but its not actually the first thing you do.
