  • Can I effectively detail under 40 degrees?

As it says- will it compromise the integrity of the product I use? (within reason- I wouldn't do anything at 5 degrees...

It will be a lot of work but you should be able to get it back in pretty good shape, probably not new car condition, but much better...

    Good luck!!!

I tried to detail my truck when I first got it and it was aroung 35 degrees. I though I had good results until I detailed at 60 degrees. I think the surface temp played havoc on the products and I probaly wasn't putting in as much effort at that temp.

In the apartment complex I am at the garage is only about 45 degrees. Which is warm enough to wash a car but drying them becomes an issue. Nothing wants to dry properly (I use water magnets or cheap microfibers). A little QD or NXT Speed Detailer helps but it still is a pain.

I did wax with NXT a few weeks back and it applyed fine and dryed fine, but 30 does seems a little low for most products.
