Unhappy what to do with a deep scratch?

    Hi everyone,

Tonight is not my night, came home @ 12am from school and realize verizon worker's decided my brand new car was too much of a eye candy for them.
Well they decided to get back at me by putting a 1.5 - 2inch deep scratch into my driver side fender. I used my fingernail to feel the depth of the scratch and I can almost see bare metal. What products can I use for now to keep the salt from eating into the metal and causing rust.

I am not good at wet sanding nor would my significant other would like me to go at the brand new car with sand paper to fix the prob. myself. I am hoping to keep the scratch protected for now until i can get the car to a body shop to fix the damage.

Get some touch-up paint. That's probably all you can do for first-aid.
Won't look that great but will do the job until you can get it fixed properly.

Where would i be able to get the touch up paint, I was looking forward to using all the meguiar's product I recently purchased. This is really upsetting to find out I have to put my money else where instead of cleaning up the car.

You will need to go to the dealer for touch-up paint. You should be able to pick up a small bottle for under 10 bucks.
