I want to keep the wheel wells looking fresh (black and clean) like it was new again..... I know road dirt, grime, etc.... will make it dirty, but I like the look of clean black and new looking wheel wells....

what cleaner (bottle spray, Liquid....) or anyother cleaner can i use?????

If you own a newer vehicle that has plastic WW then use soap and water and dress them with hyper dressing.

If they need a good cleaning spray some APC or safe degreaser on them first.

Blasting them with a pressure washer and scrubbing them with an old wash mitt will go a long way.

I usually spray some APC in there and then go over it with a toilet brush I picked up at the grocery store. Long handle, flatter brush head.....does a great job. A quick shot of your favorite dressing (Italian seems to work better than Thousand Island ) and you're done.

APC? I do know what a toilet brush is. Thanks.

I wouldn't be comfortable using something as flamable as WD-40 near heat sources, like disc brakes!!!

No flame, no spark, (unless you are down to metal on metal) and not enough heat to ignite kerosene, aka WD-40. Not sure I would use it on wheel wells though.

Look at it this way....just imagine how cool it would look. Hookin' it up Ghost Rider Style.

I need to try something else...I drove down a freshly paved street last fall and have tar-splatter in my Wheel Wells....you can't see it, but you can feel it if you run your hands over it.

I always use All season dressing in my wheel wells and it looks great(After cleaning then with a sponge and APC or megs soap). I drove it to school and back for the first time without rain(200miles round trip) and they still look great. I put it on thin so that stuff will not stick to it.
