For Sale Very Old Tin Of #16 For Sale COLLECTORS ITEM~

I am selling a very old tin of megs 16. The tin holds 15oz of wax to the normal 11oz the new style holds.

The tin is brand new never used!

I have been told the tin is from the late 70s to the early 80s but not sure.

Cool! Do you happen to know if there is an advantage by using the older wax that is not V. O. C. compliant? Does it have more depth? Is it more durable or longer lasting than the V. O. C. compliant products?

What was taken out by making it V.O.C. compliant? Was it better back then? Anyone?

Not sure what was not VOC compliant in #16 but they didn't make it after the VOC regs changed.. must have been one of the main ingredients.

The VOC regs only changed recently - hence, the recent demise of #16. This was a California law that caused this to occur but, being that Meg's is based in Irvine, it was a sweeping change across their business (and all other car care products sold in the state). EPA Region 9 is 10X more harsh with environmental regulations than the majority of the rest of the country. But, as such, they do set the bar and typically, after a few years, become the standard for which the other EPA regions attempt to maintain/achieve(and certain states that have trouble with attainment with CAA).

Now, as for the tin, I've seen full GLASS bottles of Mirror Glaze products that are unopened sell for much less than $45. Phillips is a connoisseur of this type of goodie... Not sure it'll bring that price but, best of luck!

    Thanks!!

Anyway, bottom line, does anyone know of any reason to buy that #16? Is there an advantage in #16 over anything you can get today with all the new restrictions?

I figured that but figured I would aim high. I have 4 tins and no rush to sell, the 11oz tins are going for about 30 to 35 so i figure if someone buys this tin they have 4 more oz to use.

The last 11oz tin that sold on Ebay sold for $15.50 the one before that didn't get any bids and was listed for $14.99.

Another tin sold for $16.88 about a month ago.

    Where did you see $30-$35???
