Things that make you mad/scared/have seen

I thought i would start this thread and post some things that I have seen in the past year or so that irritate me pertaining to people who car about their cars appearance. I have seen kids egging moving cars and parked probably the most common. I have seen water ballons willed with ketchup(I think Ketchup) a car being urinated on in a parking garage. Of course seen keyed. Bottles throw at moving cars. Snow balls. People spitting on cars. Pouring coffee and various drinks. Just thought I would post some of the things I have seen maybe eveyone else can chime in. This could be interesting. Greg

Writing Messages On Dirty, Dusty Cars

I worked with a "detailer" this past summer before starting my own detailing business and boy that was a nightmare...needless to say, I only worked for him for three days .



On the day of one of his "full" details, he realized he gave his "high-speed" buffer to a friend, so on the way to the detail, we stopped at pep boys. He decided purchasing 3M rubbing compound would be the best method to remove the swirls in the black car. So, upon arriving at the detail site, after washing the car with his brush that felt like sandpaper, he began applying the rubbing compound as I watched in awe while working on the interior. After he began buffing out the rubbing compound with dirty towels, he realized that it was not doing anything, so after buffing half of a panel, he decided to just wash the rest of the compound off with soap and water . After that, he handed me his cheap $20 Turtle Wax Orbital Buffer, and told me to get to work on the swirls. That buffer is the biggest POS, it only made the swirls worse. When he ran out of the dirty towels, he told me to use paper towels to wipe off the polish .

I'm going to have to avoid this thread...I'll be scarred for life from the nightmares I'm going to have.

I have a friend with a 92 vette that users kero and newspaper to wipe his car over. Suprising to say his car doesn't have many swirls or scatchs on it.

Never leave your windows rolled down. I've seen people put honey, flour, powdered sugar, etc inside peoples cars.

My biggest gripe....people that intentionally slam their car door into other people's cars. Also axle grease on the edge of windshield wiper blades.

Well these are ture past experiences, I had a guy hack up luges (Spit) on my truck and it dried on the paint in the sun, then I had my truck ducktaped by someone really stupid cause I think they were trying to keep me from getting inside my truck but the forgot to DT the doors, that **** was hard as I dont what to get off but today you can never tell that any of this **** as ever happened thanks to Megs
