      the surface is very similar to those frozen drinks you can get

      sinse its pretty useless as it is....would there be any harm in melting it down and letting it re set?

        I’d just try swirling an applicator around on the surface. It’ll probably smooth right out.

        As long as you don’t get little chunks on the applicator that won’t smooth out you should be good to go.
