  • a car lost it's clear coat can i polish it?

my friend has a car but it is very bad exterior.
he told me if i want to practice polisher I can do it on his car.
I am confused that the car has lost clear coat.

if I keep polishing with compound or polish, what will happen?

I had ever done it by hand and i found the foam was full of the car's color.
    thanks.

    Do a small test spot.

Sounds like you can't mess it up too bad.

    Go for it!

      Hey,

What do you mean the car lost its clear coat? Do you mean the CC has peeled?

You obviously wont get great results where the clear coat is gone, but you certainly can use a buffer on it, and see how you do.

You left out licking the water off. Oh, wait a minute, that's my cat, not my car. Uh, I mean my cat licks himself dry. I don't lick my cat dry. Or my car. -PC.
