i have a 1995 cherry(one was cherry) red eclipse that i bought for next to nothing. the hood and the wing is in bad shape. it is really hazy, and oxidated. when it is wet , the red is bright, but as soon as it dries it is back to foggy or hazy like. i have a pc that i just ordered and will be here in days. do you all think that the pc will do, if so which pads and glazez/polishes/waxes should i use to bring this back to red.?

In most cases, what you're describing isn't oxidation, but clear coat failure. If this is in fact clear coat failure, then there is no honest fix or repair except to repaint the entire car or the affected panels.
Clear coats do oxidize, but it is very slowly. Because we're now going on 3 decades of cars with clear coats, many people don't understand what oxidation is, like we had with cars painted before the 1980's, and often times people confuse clear coat failure with traditional oxidation and that's not the case.
Can you take a picture of it?

it definately dosnt look like clear coat failure. i am almost 100% sure it is just bad oxidation. the hood is all one consistant color, it is just hazy. i have pictures of it but i dont know how to download it . sorry. but i know for a fact it is not clear coat failure.

To remove the oxidation by hand, try either ColorX or ScratchX by hand to a small section. Apply the product, work it in and against the paint and then remove and inspect. The finish should look better, as in more clear and glossy.
ColorX is a one-step cleaner/wax. After you use ColorX you can stop because the product not only will clean the paint, (remove the oxidation), it will polish the paint and leave behind a protective coating of wax on the surface.
ScratchX is a dedicated paint cleaner. After you use ScratchX you'll want to apply a coat of wax because the purpose of ScratchX is to only clean and polish the paint, not leave behind a coating of protection.
You can find either of these two products at most auto parts stores. Give one of these a try and then post back here your results.
