DC#1 have any protection like wax?

Hey guys does DC#1 contian any basic paint protection??? Does Scratch X contain any basic protection? IF not are they classified as a pure paint cleaner becuause of containing no was protection??

Some one correct me if i'm wrong, but DC#1 is classified as a pure paint cleaner, containing no wax protection. After you apply DC#1 apply a polish and then a quality wax of your choice.

That's correct, both DC1 and ScratchX are pure paint cleaners, without any wax or other protection component. They're intended to prep your vehicle for a subsequently applied wax (and before the wax, you can do a polish).

Good choices for wax after DC1/ScratchX include #26, DC3, Gold Class, and Nxt. You can also do a polish before the wax, like DC2.

If you want a cleaner/wax combo, there is the more mild-cleaner choice, the classic Meg's cleaner/wax, and the more aggressive cleaner choice, ColorX.
