    Carpet cleaning

OK well today i was cleaning my carpets

and my car is kinda new

after rubbing it with the meguiars all surface interior brush i noticed
    the carpet weave comes undone
    and looks clean but
    now the carpet looks loose..
    (the carpet weave)

i took a razor blade and picked up the excess carpet

    any other ideas?

some carpets will do this. cut off the excess and I wouldn't worry to much about it.

    Re: Carpet cleaning

Odd thread, and weird that there are six years between posts. I doubt the original poster is reading this, but yeah, these kinds of carpets are no fun - usually somewhat cheap carpets that will do this. Minimal cleaning is best, but cutting off the excess is probably the way to go when any in-depth cleaning is needed.

On a side note, I wish I could get my hands on some of those old school Meguiar's interior brushes...
