    Thumbs up

    Mike --

I called Meguiar's (spoke with Tim) and paid my $30 registration fee this evening. I should be all set. See you Sunday morning bright and early.

Oh, I forgot to add my name from my original post -

    Rich Lawson - aka hoghead00

Also, is there anything we need to bring, read up on, etc. to prepare for the class? Thanks.

    Hi Rich,

Thanks for following-up on the registration fee, I was told as of today only a few people have done this so far.

I could use some help getting the word out that the Sunday class is set in concrete and anyone that that likes detailing their car and lives within driving range should try to square away their schedule to attend this class.

Just a few hours ago I paid for my airline tickets, hotel and car rental, so Meguiar's and myself are committed to traveling 2600 miles and invest all of the resources it takes to make these classes happen.

So far only 7 people have signed up for this class and just like the Tampa, Florida class, it's going to be horrible to see posts like this on the forum after the fact...

I would have loved to have gone to this class in Pennsylvania but I didn't know about it!

So anything anyone reading this can do without breaking any other forum's rules would be great if it helps to get the word out to detailing, car crazy guys and girls that Meguiar's is holding a detailing class on a Sunday at the Harrisburg Auto Auction Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on June 4th.

Thanks Rich and everyone else. I'm actually getting ready to send out an e-mail to the forum membership highlighting this class as well as the date and the location.

About the only thing anyone needs to bring is an enthusiastic attitude. We'll supply coffee and donuts, pizza and cold pop and even a Meguiar's Goodie Bag!

    How's that?

    Mike,
Give me a call .....dinner is on me.
I will be working the Street Rod show in York that weekend or I would be at the class.
Any chance you and Rod will be stopping by the York or Carlisle show that weekend. I understand that Barry will be in town as well

Sounds good. For all three nights I was going to see if any of the folks attending the classes would want to get together for dinner just to have some fun off work.

I know Rod's busy with two events on Friday and Saturday or he would be at both the Friday and Saturday classes, I think I remember him say at least one of the events he's working at Barry will also be working at, so it could be the New York or the Carlisle show.

My schedule is pretty busy with some driving involved between classes.

I get in Thursday morning and will be spending Thursday night in Reisterstown for Friday's class. After the class I drive to Baltimore and spend the night there for Saturday's class, and then after Saturday's class it's a 100 miles to Mechanicsburg where I'll be spending the night for Sunday's class. My plane departs BWI at 8:40pm on Sunday night so as soon as the class is over on Sunday I have to hit the highway and head back to the airport.
