    2001 Volkswagen Jetta

Well I consider myself a pretty good detailer. I have done a few cars in the past but my self doubt held me back to really pursue this craft. That is the main reason I NEVER detailed a black car. Well after doing tons of research and building up enough courage I finally detailed my brothers BLACK Jetta. Needless to say the results were amazing.

I did take some before shots but they came out to be to low of quality to post. I should have looked at the settings on the camera before but I did not and I am sorry.

The products used were MPPC, DACP(#83), Swirl Free Polish(#82), and Show Car Glaze(#7). I did each panel with DACP x3 and I got out most of the swirls. The front bumpers needs to be painted badly. In the end I am still not happy with the results but I know If I had a rotary things would look alot better.

Everything was applied via PC with the correct pads.

    Excellent work!

    No swirls at all!

Did I miss what your final sealant/wax was?

Opps my bad. It was the Paste Wax (#16). The distortion you see in the left of the first picture is actually a dent mark.

Excuse the mug in the first shot. I have not had a haircut in 3 weeks.

    Big dent mark :shocked

Excellent work overall. You should try to pick up some jobs detailing part time. Black is the hardest color to make right and especially VW/Audi. They have very hard clearcoats.

This is a job that will pay off in the end
