    Class is definate?

Mike, is the class for sure going to happen? I know you said we needed 30....so 10 will be enough? I live a pretty good ways away but plan on going. I was waiting to get off work until I was sure the class would happen. I work as a firefighter on the coast in Alabama and once we ask off and it gets approved, it's a done deal. I didn't want to waste a day off if the class was a no go. If it is a go, I'll put in to be off asap and call in to register. Thanks

The rotary working good for you MONK? You gonna be at the meet, maybe I'll see you. You are brave to get/use the rotary.

"I'm confident that if we can get the word out we can fill this class up."

Seems to me a little marketing would fill this up. Honda Land could put a notice in one of its full page ads with info for sign-up.

Or if a Meguiars rep called Tampa dealerships and spoke to the New Car Get Ready department. OR if one or more of the local PBE's put up notices with info. OR...

I just tried a little area and got a rid of a water spot and some swirls, but considered myself lucky not to have done damage, I an getting the hood off a car from the salvage yard the weekend. Results have improved a bit with the DA, however--I am happy to say.

good good, glad to hear you solved some of your detailing issues you had before. I'm sure you'll get some great input and experience from the class as well. I'm hoping I''ll be there, will find out by weeks end.

Yes, and I bought Mike Phillips DVD on de-swirling a 1960 Black Corvette. Hopefully this will help me get more out of the class.

The problem with your suggestions, although good ones, is that these classes target online enthusiasts. Primarily our online forum members, or members of other online forums. We actually don't want a specific club, as we would rather reach a wide spectrum of users, not 30 people from the Yugo club. We also don't really target people that are not online like some of the groups you listed above. If a person isn't web-savvy, it makes it very difficult to register with a forum and reply to a thread. I deal with this issue every day.

We have over 500 members on this forum that live in Florida and many are within a few hours drive, (or less), of Tampa, Florida. This class is targeted towards them.

I have already confirmed this class in this thread so it's a done deal, and now we hope our Florida members will find out it's taking place and those that want to attend will get signed up. So it's okay to share with your online friends this class is coming up but we really don't strive to go after or focus on a single, or specific club and would prefer to attract 25-30 people from 25-30 different clubs.

I wasn't quite sure, I just wanted 30 bodies. I could read the recent posts as possibly meaning "if the class goes as scheduled", because I would certainly understand that there are certain economics involved, and flying out has to be a bit of a paim for you, so you would want to know you are spreading your knowledge to a good sized group. BUT I'M NOT ARGUING! I am very happy.

LA --is there a way to contact you directly to what I have been doing with the DA that made a difference for me?
