  • Two Birds, One Stone??

    Hey, Everyone!

I'm trying to figure out what product would be good for killing two birds with one stone when it comes to body molding (rubber), vinyl, plastic, trim, but also be able to use on tires for a high gloss shine (long lasting too). These are the products:

    All Season Dressing
    Solvent Based Dressing
    Silicone Free Dressing

    Thanks for your input!

Another great product that can be used on Vinyls, Black Plastics, trims, and on your wheel wells and tires, would be M4001 Vinyl and Rubber Cleaner and Conditioner. This product will give you a great protection as well as a dark natural look.

        Hi:

From your list I would think that the All Season Dressing is going to be the best.

However, I would not call it a high gloss dressing.

I find that the look will vary depending on what it is applied to.

Some trim, tires, etc. will have more shine that others.

ASD is not water based so it is going to last the longest.

If high gloss on tires is what your are really looking for then one of the other dressings is going to be better.

I use ASD because I can use it on all exterior trim and tires and it has lasted the longest for me.

        Some more information:

        Hope that helps.

          Hey,

I have used a ton of All Season Dressing and just love the stuff!!! I have not found anything that lasts longer or looks better, IMO, for exterior trim, tires etc....

For the inside however, I prefer #40.

If you are just thinking of exterior stuff, then All Season Dressing seems very good. It is lasting very well for me on my trim, though I dont use it on tires. As 2hotford said, you can certainly use it there as well, and will get good results.

I would not say 'good' results but rather GREAT results on tires!

Here is from a recent detail I completed:
