ok, I have not used any for windows, but i did use with detailer spray for wiping out my door jams..I just tossed the rag it was beat up...

I just screwed up then washed about 10 new ones 2 that was used to wipe off NXt and 3 used to wipe swirl x as well as a soft buff pad from the DA used with swirl x and a small hand pad used to apply NXT ,,all washed together and did a additional rinse cycle after the fist one was done

Don't worry about it dude I wash all mine together no matter what they were used for, Ive never had a problem

Extra wash cycle with full hot water, also an added rinse cycle.

I also add a bit of vinegar to the pre-wash cycle.

After 10+ years my best MF towels look / feel new.
