  • Cleaning wheel wells

As I finished the car. I noticed these needed attention. What the best to use? I'm thinking some sort of brush. I have the GC tire brush, will that work? Will post pix of car tommorrow.Have new computer picked out, but waiting on tax refund.
    Thanks.

I prefer a softer bristle brush(I am sure the brush you have will work).... in my case the inner wheel wells are made with a soft flexable plastic and the softer bristles seem to work better for me. I use to use a Black Magic Wheel brush(soft bristles). but... I purchased a long handle Versa-Angle Tire Brush this winter just for wheels wells, I have yet to try it but it looks like it will work. I spray some "Greased Lightning Orange Blast" on and clean away.

Some say there isn't enough clearance for meguiars brushes between the tire and wheel well, for me there is plenty of clerance.

Hey... no problem, I was going to ask how the DA was working for you. Glad you like it, sure makes the job easier! I also have the Versa-Angle Body Brush I use it for my grill/headlights/fog lights just the front end its great for the hard to get to with a mitt areas, I prefer not to use the wash brushes on my entire vehicle.

I use a 99 cent scrub brush designed for pots and pans. It has a small head that is good for getting around suspension parts, and the long plastic bristles hold up well. For cleaner, I use a 4:1 solution of Simple Green. Rinse, dry, and follow up with a light coat of Megs #40 protectant inside the wheel wells. I use this product because its cheap (compared to my "good" protectant) and makes the well liners turn a dark black.

                    heres the break down

                    blast with PW
spray in extra ... i miss having that product around
                    blast with PW again
                    spray in NXT protectant
                    start doing other wheels
                    wipe off the protectant

It will be a lot cheaper to let them get shipped at your home

I sure did, and got almost all my stuff from ADS
