why different products for vinyl seats and door panels?

Meguiars Rx Plus recommends

NXT Generation® Tech Protect.

for vinyl seats, but

Gold Class Protectant Wipes

for door panels.

Why does Meguiars recommending different products for different area?

Is it because the chemical composition is different?

Or is it merely because the wipe product is more easy to keep away from glass - well, if we apply NXT Tech Protect to the applicator first (the bottle has this instruction), then we can control the applied areas just as with the Protectant Wipes -?

Hmm, never noticed that before, though I think the Rx does have some little kinks in it here and there.

I certainly like Nxt Tech Protectant for anything plastic/vinyl/etc on the inside of my car, but you'll have to see what looks and works best for you. I've never had a chance to see how the protectants hold up on a seat cushion/back.

Exactly, having wipes minimizes overspray from getting on glass or any unwanted areas.
