Question Detailing Follow-up and New Question

OK, Just ordered #80, 83 and 21 to get that Deep Shine I so desire on my Black Ford truck, black Mercedes and Red Miata.

Question #1: After the Synthetic Sealant is applied should NXT Tech Wax be used to top off the Sealant or any other product?

Question #2: In finishing my gel-coat I have always used Meguiar's Flagship Marine Liquid Wax and seem to be satisfied. Is there another better product that will give an even deeper luster?

    1. I would probably just use 2 coats of #21.

    2. I belive that is the top of the line marine wax. I thnk cleaning and polishing is going to be the only way to add more depth, etc to the finish. And if you already do that, then you might be at the best it can be.

Keep in mind you can machine apply the marine products, and that will up your results over hand use, just like on your car.

    Marine Product #21

    Thanks for your reply.

Actually, I am fanatical about waxing my boat as the Ocean does a number on the finish. I also notice much improvement in transit with better gas mileage and performance gliding through the water when the hull is waxed at least two times, not to mention I always apply with a PC7424 with two coats of Flagship Marine Wax.
I just thought there was a better product since technology is always changing.

Yeah, I think the cleaners, polishes, and waxes have stayed the same in the marine line for a little while.

A lot of times there are improvements made to formulas but Meguiar's doesn't make a big show about it, it's called a rolling change. Many of the formulas in the Marine line have seen improvements in the last year or two the Flagship Polymer Wax being one of them.
