And the key is to use enough glass cleaner to get the gunk off the window first, then go back with a very, very light mist of product and a dry area of the towel. Like many others, I used to fight streaks all the time, but this method has solved the problem completely. Turns out I was just using too much product.

I just got installed windshield at my office window but the birds from outside always manage to spread dirt on it and now it looks ugly. I have asked for auto glass cleaner company to clean it but they are charging much more than as I expected. I want to know if there is any way or material I can use to clean it which made my windshield glasses like brand new one.

Invisible Glass or Spray Away, both excellent. I disagree with the microfiber, they do pick up dust and dirt like nothing else, but not liquid very well. Put some liquid on a table and try and wipe it up with a microfiber and then try a cotton towel, not one that is part synthetic but pure cotton. You will find a good absorbant cotton towel will pick liquid up quickly with no residue. JMO.

Just have to clean it. Yo ucan use a good glass cleaner like Nxt. You can use clay. You may also want to use something like RainX, or even just UQD/UQW to get a little coating on the glass.

Not sure if this was mentioned but I think cleaning really nasty glass also has to do with technique. I use Meg's Detailer Glass Cleaner with MF towels. I use one MF to clean and get the film of nasty off then a new MF with a light mist of cleaner to buff as fast as my arm can go (hard to do on the rear windows sometimes) and it will dry and eventually become streak free. My wife will be my spotter on the outside to make sure when the sun hits it, there is no holograming or filminess. When the sun hits the glass you can see if the film is gone or not, if not I keep buffing with a new MF lightly misted with cleaner. Also I use distilled water to mix my cleaner.

I realized that the hard water stains I have are just above the radius of where my windshield wiper goes. It's because I didn't use WW Cleaner Fluid but tap water. It's hard water...
So what's the most current Maguiar's product that will remove this?
