  • Scratches in Door Sills

Hi I have some stainless steel door sills with some small scratches in them from general wear and tear. Would the NXT All Metal Polish reduce the scratches?

sorry to tell you it wont minimize the scratches,

however if they are shiny, it will optically reduce the appearance of them. you just have to polish the scratches

The problem with removing a scratch or scratches out of Stainless Steel is that the metal is so hard that you and you hand, applying a metal polish with some type of applicator cannot remove small particles of stainless steel around the scratches in an effort to level the uppermost surface of the stainless steel with the lowest depth of the scratches.

It can be done, but it takes special products and tools that can be found at the Eastwood Company. For the most part, you're tackling a problem that would be better solved by buying new door sills and learning not to drag your feet over them, or learn to live with the scratches.
