NXT Tech Protect on paint

I was using the tech protect to clean all of my plastic molding on the exterior, but on all of the area surrounding the molding i have left an oily patch. Will this harm the paint, and is giving it a wash with the nxt car wash do the job. Any Info. would be great, becasue i dont want to mess up the paint, but if the wash will remove the oils then do i still have to reapply on the molding.

The Tech Protect will wipe off or wash off with soap, as for reapplying it, yes you'll need to re-apply it. I usually use a peice of terry cloth I cut up out of a towel.
