Warm water on a microfiber, followed up by a dry microfiber. Now that is thrifty, and works perfectly. No streaks...just clean glass and no smell.

What kind of surface is it?
Corrugated aluminum is the most difficult thing you can work on.
If its gel coat and vinyl then go with a cleaner

Thanks for the replies everyone! So it's normal for the back-plate to be 1" less than the pad? I assume the back-plate can be changed with everyday

That's a nice boat. Good job. I used that wax on an RV before and I found out that spray wax was working just as good because the RV was so oxidized.

In the 101 class I remember Mike speaking to rim cleaners and how to only use Chrome on true Chrome wheels. Which is not the case for me. But I did use what I think is the least "harmful" cleaner on my rims and am now having issues. In the past I was using Hot Rims (blue) much like the detailing...
