I don't have the patience to continue discussing your outlook on things. I will say this. If you enjoy using your carnauba wax then by all means continue

You are able to remove them, correct? How about just wiping the hand print area then doing one last final with D156. I mean black is going to show everything.

Did my car again yesterday, i wet sanded a few scratches with 3000 grit, used ultimate compound on a few panels, then mirror glaze finishing polish first

That is an understatement. If you notice that in weatherless Los Angeles, imagine how pointless a coating is in the Southeast - not because it won't

What other DA's are are available to you? I would go the DA route instead of the DAPS route.

Gloss coat does cost more but in my opinion it's worth it considering it is now an up to 3 year coating. There are a few other coatings that are cost

Re: Question about the DA Power system

Yes a MT300 would be awsome, however in Sweden they cost $464
a DAPS with all pads + a medium priced drill will cost me roughly $185 :-)

    Sealant vs Coating

    Thread Starter: DanielM

Besides longevity is there really a difference between coatings and sealants? From my readings, I see many statements lowering the hype about coating such as "Hardness can help aid in some levels of protection, but on the scale of 1-3 microns which is the average thickness of a coating, it...

Removing clear coat with ultimate compound?

    Thread Starter: MicrofiberMan

I was wondering how many times you would have to use ultimate compound before you removed to much clear coat, lets say you were using a meguiars dual action with a meguiars cutting pad, roughly how many times would you have to use it figure you're doing 5 passes at a time

Question about the DA Power system

    Thread Starter: snozan

Read alot about it. Seems like a product i would use (since i wax by hand). One thing that bothers me though. the drills rpm. Says 1500 - 2500 rpm. Seems however impossible to find a drill with that low rpm as 2500. The cheapest ones have a rpm of 2800. Question is, would it still be oki to use...

Full on paint correction, wash, nano padded ( Clay ), compounded ( M100 ), polished ( M 205 ), polished yet again ( M 80 old stock ), sealed ( #21 ) 16 hours later second coat ( 21 ). Started doing the final window cleaning and...
