Re: Minor Swirl Marks after Sanding/Compound/Polish/Wax

I recently did some paint touch up and blending on my truck, so here's what I did. I carefully wet sanded the area, using linear (not circular) motions,

Re: What Foam Pads will work with my G110V2?

I love their thin foam discs!

If you have the chance, go with them. I believe the 6" would work on your plat, but not 100% sure.

I decided on the DBP5 5" backing plate along with the 5" pads DFF5 and DFP5 from Meguiars.! I look forward to being able to continue to use

Will the DBP5 work with other brand pads such as Lake Country?

Also, why has the world seem to move to a 5" from the 7" or 6"

Every time I have used paint, (any kind of paint including automotive) it normally has much information directly on the container label, including drying

Re: Milky streaks after Super Degreaser use, how to remove/clean?

Yes I suspect that too. But the streaks only appear under the hood.
I needed the strong cleaning power due to the excessive engine oil all over

Re: D115 Ratios for a Rinseless Wash

For all those that miss D114 check out McKee's 37 N914. Very similar to D114 if not better than D114.

Re: Minor Swirl Marks after Sanding/Compound/Polish/Wax

After carefully looking at the mark they are definitely sanding marks left from the initial wet sanding and not spiderweb swirl marks as I mentioned before

also agree on D114 being discontinued. So much so that I went out and purchased ONR because of the similar characteristics. I would go back to D114 if

Agreed on the D114 being discontinued, so many uses for it.

D115 Ratios for a Rinseless Wash

    Thread Starter: RPPM

I know when this product came out, it was originally recommended to use this product at a 1:4 ratio. I have watched the video Meguiars did with Mike Philips from Autogeek. Since D114 is discontinued, I would like to use D115 as my rinseless, but frankly it is not really feasible to use an entire...

    Minor Swirl Marks after Sanding/Compound/Polish/Wax

    Thread Starter: locorecto

I wanted to protect my car’s GRAY paint and improve its look by compounding and polishing it. I decided to first tackle the most exposed areas (hood and roof) since it stays outside all time. Since there were some scratches on the hood, I decided to use a 2000 grid sand paper to do a very light...

What Foam Pads will work with my G110V2?

    Thread Starter: sitedrifter

I have owned the G110V2 polisher for about 5 years and just finally used my last Soft Touch 2.0 pad (bought a boat load 2 years ago). I went to purchase more and they are nowhere to be had. What 7" pad will work with the G110V2 or even a 6" or 6.5" pad? I don't want to change the backing plate (if...

    Touch up drying time

    Thread Starter: neil4374

Hey guys, I would appreciate some advice. I have tried to seek the answers to my questions but have been unable to find precise answers. Firstly, my car has some scratches. Not bad at all. In fact small and thin. I have read up on using primer first before using the touch up pen and then...
