Seems strange if they should be worn.
I have had this set for several years, but never really used it. I did a full car last year with #7 using

Re: Shampoo with or without wax?

Yea well. Meguiars products are very overpricied here if you compare to US anyway

    A bottle of UWW: $24

    A bottle of UQW: $22

Re: Seeking some advice on polishing

The old cutting pad wasn't recommended because it could cause some hazing on some paints. The new version works great with any type of tool.

Yes the new backing plate will fit on your DA. Meguiar's only offers the 5" and 6" foam pads for the DA.

    Sounds like you are in

    Hi Guz,

    Yes I have.
As mentioned I have the 7" Wx207 pads right now - and I 'm not even sure you can get 7" from Meguiars

Re: Shampoo with or without wax?

The wax left behind is minimal anyway so I would not overthink it. It's mostly for the freshly waxed look.

I would recommend getting a smaller backing plate or a dedicated smaller DA + backing plate for those curved edges.

    Seeking some advice on polishing

    Thread Starter: Vifa

Hi all, I have the G220v2 with 6" polishing pads. I would like to know what you do on smaller sections and curves/edges? Would you hand rub smaller sections with an "Even Pad" and how small should a section be before you decide not to use the DA polisher? I ask this because I find it hard...

Thoughts about Ultimate Wash & Wax

    Thread Starter: Vifa

Hi all, I was going to try the D111 Shampoo Plus, but it was not available - so I got a bottle of Ultimate Wash and Wax instead. After doing two cars today, I think it did the job ok - but I was missing some gloss. Is this to expect? As I haven`t tried the D111 yet, how does this compare...

    Shampoo with or without wax?

    Thread Starter: Vifa

Hi all, When would I choose a shampoo without wax? What are the pros and cons? I normally use Gold Class Carnauba Paste Wax once or twice a year anyway.

    Removing overspray/paint specks from car

    Thread Starter: prosper

Hello, I was looking to see if there are any other options besides the clay bar to removing little paint spectacles from a car? I can feel them when i run my hand across and i am able to scrape most by using my fingernail. I recently bought the clay kit and that worked to an certain extent. Most...
