How is that LC backing plate for the PC, when used with W8006 pads? If it's any good (aka better than the W64DA that slings pads off the machine in mid-buff) I may be interested....

I've hid it since June I think, and it works great. I bought it as I had issues with several of the W64DA BP's as well. Have never had any issues withthis one, I'm just selling it to upgrade to a 6" Backing plate as I'm now using 7.5" pads, and use the PC mostly for wax application now.

Sold!! I bought a 3M backing plate when I had a few of the W64DAs go bad on me, and it works great except that you have to literally wrestle with a pad to get it off, since 3M's velcro is so strong. It kind of concerns me that at some point, I'm liable to yank the velcro right off the foam part of a pad -- and then I'm out $10.
